My assumption is that the sign you sought was some ordinary event that occurred one time. Random chance would lead to events occasionally occurring, no deity necessary

We don’t have good sources to corroborate the claims that “all of the apostles died horrible deaths.” Only Stephen and Paul were martyred according to the Bible. Every other apostle, aside from John, the alleged writer of revelation, we have no idea what happened to them or what they believed

Excellent! Good for u! U are being humble and respectful before God. No need to be “religious”. What God really wants is to have a close personal relationship with us. He wants to be part of our daily lives. He wants us to know that he is always with us, feeling what we feel, seeing our perspective, hearing our thoughts. He is our heavenly father and wants us to talk to him, to tell him about our fears and frustrations, about our disappointments and sorrows, about our successes and joys, about our hopes and dreams. And he wants us to ask him for help when we need it. He wants us to know that he loves us and values us tremendously and he wants us to love him back. He wants us to get to know him… and that is actually pretty easy. Jesus said “Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father.” Read the book of John in the New Testament; it is all about Jesus. But most of all, he wants us to understand and accept the gospel of salvation thru the tremendous sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. We are all sinners (especially in our minds and hearts). Even if we are a really good person and we are kind, generous, patient, helpful, forgiving, etc…. compared to the pure glorious, sinless, holy beauty of God and Heaven we look and smell like rancid pieces of filthy garbage. We are not worthy. Every time we sin, more filth gets rubbed on our soul, staining it even more. Those sins break God’s holy rules and have consequences … and a price must be paid for them. If WE were made to pay, the price would be eternal separation from God… our sins prevent entry into Heaven. But God loves us anyway and wants ALL OF US to live with him in Heaven, so, what was the solution? Jesus volunteered to sacrifice himself on the cross to pay the price for our sins. He was punished in our place by being betrayed, arrested, beaten, spat on, whipped, nailed to a cross and suffering a slow agonizing death while people mocked him. As a result, all our sins were forgiven. Jesus essentially bought our ticket to Heaven. He then holds that ticket out to us saying “I love u. I died to save u. Please accept my free gift to u. Will u trust me & commit to following me?” It is up to us to accept him as our Lord and Savior and to realize that we gain entry to Heaven not because of what WE DO but because of what JESUS DID. This is not an intellect issue; it is a heart issue. He wants us to open our heart to him and commit to him. I listen to Dr. Michael Heiser videos. He is a Bible scholar: PhD & 2 masters degrees. @@user-gv8xf9ul5j There was sufficient evidence against looking down the barrel of a gun. It explodes and a bullet shoots out at high speeds, therefore looking straight into it is not a good idea. There is no proof that Christianity is a bad idea, and every valid argument against it is always met with an equally valid argument against it.

U ask who “runs the show”. The Bible tells us that God created the spiritual realm as well as the physical universe and us humans. Some of the angelic beings were rebellious and disobedient & were kicked out of Heaven and have been hanging around down here, able to influence and tempt us to also turn away from God. But, on Judgement Day, at the second coming of Jesus, they will all be locked away permanently… and they know this. Yes, these dark spirits tempt us to give in to our baser instincts of hedonism, lust, greed, envy, selfishness, jealousy, self righteous pride, etc., but what they want more than anything is to lead us away from the truth of scripture & the gospel of salvation thru the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. If they can get us to REJECT the gospel, they know that when we die, we will spend eternity with them, instead of with God & the Heavenly host. Misery loves company. They are very tricky and deceptive and understand human desires and weaknesses very well. They are experts at wrapping truth around lies. They don’t care WHAT we believe so long as it is NOT the gospel. They are very happy if we are atheists or believe in some non-Christian religion or believe that “Jesus didn’t exist” or that “u can’t trust the Bible” or that “the Bible is just a fairy tale” or “everyone goes to Heaven”. They have been very successful at getting people to blame God for the problems of this world; many of which they themselves have caused. They are skilled at getting us to have an over inflated sense of pride in our own limited intellect and knowledge of the universe so that we dismiss God & the supernatural altogether. They are powerful spiritual beings and can even impart “hidden” knowledge to us and predict future events. They can pretend to be “spirit helpers” or ghosts of loves ones, etc.. They want us to engage with them and let them into our lives. The Bible says not to mess around with the spiritual realm. The more we open that door, the more we invite these dark forces into our life, the more influence they have and the farther down the dark path we travel. There are many videos of ex-witches, ex-shamans, ex-mediums, ex-psychics, ex-ghost hunters, ex-new age practitioners that finally realized that their “spirit helpers” or “power from the universe” or “ghosts” or “spiritual guides” were in fact, demons and were trying to destroy their lives. When these people tried to escape their dark influence, they were harassed and tormented by these fallen spirits… terrible nightmares, non-stop uncontrollable anxiety, doors slamming, beds shaking, hearing voices behind the walls, footsteps following them… So, how did they finally break free of their dark oppression? Answer: In all the videos, they say that they stopped practicing all of the dark spiritual stuff talked about in the Bible and committed their life to Jesus. Why would that work? Because the demons are VERY familiar with Jesus… and his holiness, power & sovereignty. They fear him & what he will do to them on Judgement Day (the “appointed” time). This is very evident in scripture. This spiritual realm stuff is no joke. Check out videos from Catholic & Christian exorcists. They are very familiar with all this all of this stuff.
